Hello there!
I am a Music Therapist, vocal coach and jazz singer from Denmark, now living in Manosque. I used to live in Bristol, England for many years, so I OFFER ALL OF MY SERVICES IN ENGLISH AS WELL AS FRENCH - I normally translate during the choirs as well, so don't hesitate.

Resonance is my hub for all things musical, situated in my lovely music room. You can come here weekly for one of my lovely choirs or workshops, individual/group music therapy, baby music group, prenatal singing and voice lessons for children and adults.

Resonance
Resonance is a name I came up with after having reflected on why I love music and making music.
The resonance and feedback from others - musicians, listeners, choirmembers - is what makes it worthwhile for me to sing and teach!
Just as we can't live without other people and that (most) people love to have some kind of tribe, me included, the best thing about music is to share it with others!
I have created this music school, or music hub as I like to call it, as a place for sharing music. It doesn't matter where you are on your journey, if you are a semi-professional or just starting out with choir lessons for the first time. This place is for all of you!!
As a music therapist - having studied in England where this is a 3-year university degree- I am taking it very seriously to take a therapeutic approach to everyone I work with, even if the lesson might be called "Voice lesson" or "Choir". Music can be beneficial to us in so many ways, and I believe that we all have something to contribute with - we all have an innate musicality that I love exploring with my students and clients.

Even if I am teaching very technical voice skills (from the danish "complete vocal technique" method), it is always the musical aspect that I focus on. Not just technique without any music, if you know what I mean.
​
I believe that it should be fun to sing, and that we should sing songs we care about. Then we learn more!
​
When you enroll for any of my courses, you can rest assured that you do not have to be able to read music or have done any degrees before, your voice does not have to be trained or beautiful... The only thing you need to do is explore your love of music. If you enjoy music, that's enough for me!
